Northern Gold Train to Whistler & the Canadian Rockies

9 Nights / 10 Days

Spend a night in Fairmont luxury accommodations before boarding the Whistler Mountaineer for your three hour journey through spectacular mountain and canyon scenery. Enjoy lakes, rivers, glaciers and spectacular waterfalls en route.

In Whistler, you'll have dinner and spend the night at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler before boarding the Rocky Mountaineer for Jasper National Park and the Canadian Rockies.

Once you reach Jasper, you'll have two nights at the Jasper Park Lodge in premium accommodation. Along with your leisure time in Jasper, you'll be treated to a tour of the area including Maligne Lake and Canyon with your driver guide and Rocky Mountaineer Concierge.
After another night at the Jasper Park Lodge, you'll travel to the Chateau Lake Louise but not before a stop at the Columbia Icefield and glacier tour en route.

Enjoy stunning lakeside views from your deluxe room at the Chateau Lake Louise with dinner in its best dining room. The following morning, join your concierge for a tour of Yoho Park and Banff before settling in at the Banff Springs Hotel for dinner and a cozy room with a beautiful view. Be sure to tour the hotel on your own. In fact, take the time to tour all three of these spectacular hotels and visit their spas.

For your free day in Banff, consider a round of golf, a soak in the mineral pools at Upper Hot Springs, a nature walk on nearby mountain trails or a visit to Banff’s historic museums,.

After a second night at the magnificent Banff Springs hotel, you'll board your private luxury motor coach for a transfer to and tour of Calgary, arriving at the Fairmont Palliser hotel in the early afternoon. Dinner is included in the Fairmont Palliser Hotel dining room.

This vacation begins with an overnight stay in Vancouver each Tuesday between May 20 - Oct 7, 2008.
