Rockies, Rail, and Luxurious Wilderness

7 Nights / 8 Days

You'll spend 3 nights at Sonora Lodge where you can fish, putt, hike, swim, play tennis, enjoy the spa or the abundant wildlife and eat local, organic vegetables, beef from Alberta, lobster from Nova Scotia and Foie Gras from Quebec. The menu changes daily.
Combine this magical experience with two pampered days on the Rocky Mountaineer GoldLeaf train between Vancouver and Calgary and you have an exquisite week long adventure you'll never forget.

This tour begins when when you arrive at the Vancouver International Airport. and your driver is waiting for you with your limousine On your way into town, he will point out the city's highlights. You'll spend overnight in premium Fairmont accommodations for your night in Vancouver.

Today you'll be transferred by float plane from Vancouver to Sonora Lodge. You'll enjoy an hour of spectacular scenery along the BC coast line to Desolation Sound where the lodge is located.
You'll spend three days at the lodge with full access to the many amenities the lodge offers whether you want to relax at the spa or try kayaking, fly or ocean salmon fishing, play golf on the golf simulator or enjoy the abundant wildlife.
Each day at Sonora Resort, you'll enjoy elegant meals and tapas appetizers, a full bar and an excellent BC wine collection.

After your luxurious stay at the Sonora Resort, return to Vancouver for another night in a premium room at the Fairmont. The following morning you'll be transferred by limousine to the train station where you'll board the GoldLeaf passenger car on the Rocky Mountaineer for a two day train trip through the Canadian Rockies.

This vacation begins with an overnight stay in Vancouver each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between May 15 - Oct 9, 2008.
