Comprehensive Travel Insurance Package
Available to Canadians and Visitors to Canada
The package includes:
- Medical expense up to Policy limit of $150,000.
- Emergency transportation up to Policy limit of $150,000.
- Trip Cancellation up to the full cost of your travel arrangements.
- Trip Interruption up to Policy limit of $150,000.
- $500 Luggage
- $10,000 accidental Death & Dismemberment
- $50,000 Air Flight Accident (Canadian Residents only)
- Trip delay* $300 per day (maximum $1,000) for out-of-pocket allowance
Other features include:
The pre-existing medical condition exclusion will be waived for trip cancellation if the plan is purchased within 15 days of making the initial trip payment.
The pre-existing medical condition is covered with a stability period of 90 days.**
Family Rates applies to a maximum of 5 persons and includes the applicant and their spouse under age 61 and their dependent children under age 22 all living in the same residence.
Minimum premium: $16 per person.

*The insurer agrees to pay benefit in the event that a delay of the connecting carrier or automobile at the departure point causes a missed connection, provided the connecting carrier or automobile was scheduled to arrive not less than two hours prior to the scheduled connection time due to: a) weather conditions, and/or train derailment, or mechanical failure of the connecting carrier; or b) traffic accident or emergency police road closure causes delay of a private or commercial automobile.
**A sickness, injury or medical condition controlled by the consistent use of prescribed medication is covered unless it had deteriorated, or required investigation or had a change in medication type or dosage during that 90 day period and on the date the coverage was purchased, it was reasonable and expected that insured would have been able to travel on the departure date.
