Rocky Mountaineer Rail Vacations offers a number of options that determine the price of each trip.

  • Travel Dates: Economy fares are available in April, May and October. Full fares are available from late May through September.
  • RedLeaf or GoldLeaf Service: The type of service you choose on the train, either RedLeaf or GoldLeaf, will impact the price of your trip. GoldLeaf Service is $880 more per person for each two days you spend on the train.

  • Number of Passengers Traveling: Single travelers pay more per person than two people traveling together. Three passengers sharing a room will pay slightly less per person than two people.
  • Passenger Ages: Tickets for children between the ages of 2-11 are less than adult fares. Students and seniors pay adult fares.
  • Currency: Prices listed on the site are the same in both Canadian and US Dollars.Depending on the current exchange rate, an price adjustment may be made in your favour.
  • Hotel Choices: Your hotel choices, when available, affect the price of your trip.

Staying at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise
If you choose a Rocky Mountaineer Vacation that includes a night at Lake Louise, you will stay at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. The price of your night or nights at the Chateau Lake Louise will depend on the location and size of your room.
