Overview

Back by popular demand, the Canadian Rockies Holiday, our only round trip package that begins and ends in Calgary, includes two trains: two days on the Rocky Mountaineer in Red, Silver or GoldLeaf Service, from Calgary to Vancouver and a night and day on the ViaRail train from Vancouver to Jasper in a private bedroom.

Both the Rocky Mountaineer and the ViaRail train trips include breakfast and lunch on the train.

Enjoy a day exploring Capilano Suspension Bridge, Capilano Fish Hatchery, learning about life cycle of salmon, riding the Skyride gondola to the top of Grouse Mountain and visiting Grinder and Coola, the resident grizzly bears before retuning to the highlights of downtown Vancouver: Stanley Park, English Bay, Granville Island, Yaletown, Chinatown, Kits Beach and Coal Harbour.

After your Vancouver tour, you will have time for dinner before boarding the 8:30 PM ViaRail train bound for Jasper National Park. You’ll arrive in Jasper National Park and the Canadian Rockies at 4:00 PM the following afternoon.

You’ll stay in Jasper, Lake Louise and Banff National Park and travel through the Rockies by motor coach along one of the three most beautiful highways in the world.

Stops include Athabasca Falls, Crowfoot Glacier, Peyto Lake, Emerald Lake and the Spiral tunnels. Stays include the Sawridge Lodge in Jasper, a lake view room at the Chateau Lake Louise and Brewster’s Mountain Lodge in Banff.

  • SilverLeaf Service – Reserved seating in a custom built single level car with 67% more viewing area than RedLeaf, hot breakfast and lunch served at your seat, complimentary wine or beer with lunch, complimentary nonalcoholic beverages during the day and overnight accommodations in Kamloops.
  • GoldLeaf Service – Reserved seating in the GoldLeaf elevated dome car. Breakfast and lunch are served in the GoldLeaf dining car and GoldLeaf passengers have access to the outdoor viewing platform.
