Rocky Mountaineer Hotels - 2008

Rocky Mountaineer vacation packages include your choice of three different levels of accommodation: Popular, Superior or Deluxe Hotels.

Often the same hotel is used for both superior and deluxe accommodations. When that is the case, the difference will be in the size and/or location of your room.

All guests whose itinerary includes a night at Lake Louise will stay at the fabulous Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Popular accommodations do not include a lake view. Both superior and deluxe rooms will have a view of Lake Louise.

All Rocky Mountaineer train trips include a night in Kamloops or a night in Quesnel at the end of your first day on the train. Kamloops and Quesnel offer only moderate hotel accommodations. Your hotel in Kamloops or Quesnel will be determined about two weeks before you travel.

Each hotel has been carefully selected to ensure the highest level of comfort and service. You may also consider extending your vacation by adding extra hotel nights

Here are the differences among the three different hotel types:

Popular Hotels

Popular hotels offer, clean, comfortable rooms with some amenities. Great restaurants are available at or within walking distance of your hotel.
Popular hotels are available with both Rocky Mountaineer RedLeaf and GoldLeaf Services.

Superior Hotels

Superior Hotels provide the best of service and extra amenities, including restaurants.
Superior Hotels are available with both Rocky Mountaineer RedLeaf Service and GoldLeaf Service.

Please note: Superior Hotels are not available in Kamloops and Quesnel.

Deluxe Hotels

Deluxe Hotels offer a guarantee of either a larger room or a spectacular view at a hotel renowned for quality service and amenities. Please allow us to assist you if you require particular facilities at your hotel. Deluxe Hotels are available with both Rocky Mountaineer RedLeaf Service and GoldLeaf Service.

Please note: Deluxe Hotels are not available in Kamloops and Quesnel.
