Overview
This popular Canadian Rockies vacation features two nights at the magical Chateau Lake Louise as well as two nights in Banff National Park and one night each in Vancouver and Kamloops and Calgary.
If you want to tour to the Columbia Icefield and ride the Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier during your free day at Lake Louise, we can add that to this package. If you choose to spend your free day at Lake Louise, you can stroll along the lake shore, hike to a nearby tea house or shop at some of the wonderful shops located in the Chateau.
And if you just want to relax, you’ll find Lake Louise one of the most beautiful places in the world to read a book, listen to music or just do nothing.
Banff offers an optional Gondola ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain, evening raft floats on the Bow River, the Upper Banff Hot Springs along with shopping and great restaurants. Banff is the largest and most vibrant town in the Canadian Rockies.
Your vacation concludes with a transfer from your Banff hotel to Calgary International airport where you’ll catch your flight home. Since the transfer takes 1 hour 45 minutes, plan to catch an afternoon flight.

Rocky Mountaineer: SilverLeaf and GoldLeaf Service
- SilverLeaf Service includes reserved seating in a custom built single level car with expansive windows curving into the ceiling, hot breakfast and lunch served at your seat, and complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during the day.
- GoldLeaf Service – Reserved seating in the GoldLeaf elevated dome car. Breakfast and lunch are served in the GoldLeaf dining car and GoldLeaf passengers have access to the outdoor viewing platform.
- GoldLeaf Deluxe – GoldLeaf Service on the train with upgraded rooms your hotels. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included.
