Rocky Mountaineer Short Tours

The shortest Rocky Mountaineer train trip includes two days on the train and one night hotel stay in Kamloops, located in the British Columbia interior.These two day trips go both east from Vancouver to Jasper, Banff or Calgary, and west from Calgary, Banff or Jasper to Vancouver.

Trains depart on various dates from Vancouver, Banff, Calgary and Jasper from the last week in April to the first week in October.

The train portion of this tour is identical to that of the two day train trip. The Classic Rail Vacation, however, includes hotel stays the night before the train departs and the night the train arrives at your destination.You get, in other words, two days on the train, three nights accommodations, breakfast and lunch on the train both days, all transfers between hotels and the train and all luggage handling.

Spend one night each in Vancouver, Kamloops and Kelowna, in the heart of BC’s wine grape growing region and 2 nights in Banff National Park and a 6.5 hour tour to Lake Louise and Johnston Canyon. Tour Lake Louise, try wine tasting at a famous BC winery in the Okanagan Valley and enjoy lunch and a private tour at Minter Gardens.
